We believe the Bible (both old and new testaments) to be the Word of God and is the final authority on faith and conduct.
We believe there to be One True God that is eternally existent in the three persons of the trinity: God the Father, God The Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully human and yet also fully God as demonstrated by His virgin birth, sinless life, working of miracles, substitutionary work on the cross, bodily resurrection from the dead, and ascension to the right hand of God the Father.
We believe that although humankind was created perfect in the image and likeness of God, they voluntarily disobeyed God’s command and brought sin into the world, and thereby brought not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
We believe that humankind’s only hope for redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This is achieved through faith that Jesus Christ is God the Son who died on the cross for our sins, and repenting of our sinful behaviors.
We believe that there are two ordinances that are commanded in scripture for believers to observe. These are not necessary for salvation, but are seen as “best practices” for believers of Jesus Christ.
We believe that all believers in Jesus Christ are able to receive the promise of God the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This is a second experience to salvation, but can happen at the same time. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit gives the believer “power to be witnesses” for Christ as well as other various gifts of the Spirit that God uses to minister to and through believers.
We believe that when a believer is baptized in the Holy Spirit, the first evidence of the baptism is speaking in a prayer language, an unlearned language, as the Spirit gives the ability.
We believe in the sanctification of the believer when they accept Jesus Christ. In the eyes of God the Father we are perfect and holy as soon as we accept the payment that Christ provided on the cross. However, due to our bad habit of sin, we must always work to become as holy as God the Father sees us.
We believe that as each believer is a representative of Jesus Christ in the world, so the Church is His body, and is commissioned to spread the love of Jesus Christ those who don’t yet know him, and to be an environment of learning about and worship of God.
We believe in the Ministry that God has ordained to lead the Church in the evangelization of the world, worship of God, and of building up the body of Christ.
We believe that divine healing was provided for as part of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
We believe that there will be a resurrection of believers from the dead when Jesus returns to earth. This will be accompanied by those believers that are alive at that time being translated, with those resurrected, into their perfect resurrected bodies.
We believe that at Jesus Christ’s second coming he will set up an earthly kingdom and rule and reign for one thousand years, bringing salvation for the nation of Israel and the establishment of universal peace around the world.
We believe that there will be a final judgment for all according to their works while alive on earth. Those that did not accept Jesus Christ while living, along with Satan, his angels, the beast and the false prophet (mentioned in Revelation), will go into everlasting punishment in the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
We believe that after the final judgment, God will create a new earth with new heavens that will have no sin or death where we will live with Him forever.
